Tyler Burr

Tyler Burr is a SoCal raised percussionist and snare drumspecialist. Tyler competed as a member of Impulse Drum and Bugle Corps in 2011, Pacific Crest Drum and Bugle Corps in 2012 & 2013, POW Percussion in 2014 & 2015, Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps in 2015, Pulse Percussion 2016 & RCC Indoor 2017. Accolades earned in this time include multiple championship finalist performances as well as a WGI gold medal and a DCI I&E gold medal. Tyler also has performed in exhibition as a member of RCC Marching Tigers 2012-2015, and abroad with Top Secret Drum Corps in 2017. His teaching experience includes Citrus Valley HS, Glendora HS, Fontana HS as well European X in 2018 as Battery Caption Head, Vessel Indoor 2022-2024 as Snare Technician, & Vessel Drum and Bugle Corps 2024 as Battery Caption Head. Tyler is currently teaching at Eleanor Roosevelt HS.
